Global Footprint | After 2 Years of Operation, Solargiga Energy has Created the “Klein Blue” Model for Water-mounted PV Power Stations

In the Baimashan Conch Cement factory area in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, a unique “blue ocean” is quietly unleashing its immense energy. The Baimashan Conch Cement 3.8MW Distributed PV Power Generation Project has been operating steadily for more than 2 years since it was connected to the power grid at full capacity. The 1.46MW water-mounted PV power station installed on the water pond in the factory area radiates the purest “Klein Blue” under the sunlight, having become a striking scenic feature within the factory area.

In this edition of Global Footprint, we take you inside the Baimashan Conch Cement 3.8MW Distributed PV Power Generation Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”), a distributed project with NEW YangGuang PV Application Co. Limited (hereinafter referred to as “NEW YangGuang”), a subsidiary of Solargiga Energy Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Solargiga Energy”) as its supplier.

“New PV Attire”
Beautifying the Industrial Complex of Conch Group

Walking into the Baimashan Conch Cement factory area in Anhui, you will find neatly arranged PV modules covering water pond and refractory factory buildings in the factory area, as if dressing the industrial complex with a “new PV attire”. From an aerial view, these PV modules complement the structures and landscaping features in the factory area, forming a unique tableau of industrial-natural harmony.

As a leading enterprise in the building materials industry, Conch Group has always regarded environmental protection as the “lifeline” of corporate development and the “ecological line” for surpassing competitors. It adheres to the concept that environment is efficiency and strives to build traditional industrial enterprises into eco-friendly and resource-saving enterprises around the development ideas of “intelligent factory area, information-based management and industrial greening”. In recent years, Conch Group has actively explored the extension of the new energy industry chain and used more clean energy. The Baimashan Conch Cement 3.8MW Distributed PV Power Generation Project built by it uses exclusively the 545W monocrystalline PV modules produced by Solargiga Energy. These modules are installed at the water pond and roofs of refractory factory buildings. This Project not only provides stable green energy for the factory area, but also becomes a key step for Conch Group to transform to green energy.

“Marathon Philosophy”
The Project has Achieved Two Years of Steady and Zero-failure Operation

By now, the Baimashan Conch Cement 3.8MW Distributed PV Power Generation Project has operated steadily for 2 years, especially the water-mounted PV power station. As time goes, Solargiga Energy has verified the “Marathon Philosophy” for water-mounted PV power station.

In the early stage of the Project, NEW YangGuang set up a special technical team to conduct detailed survey and analysis on the geographical environment, lighting conditions, climate characteristics, etc. of the water pond, providing a scientific basis for the model selection and arrangement of PV modules. It took only 6 months to put the Project into operation on grid. After the Project was connected to the power grid, NEW YangGuang also established a complete operation and maintenance service system to respond quickly and solve timely customer problems, ensuring the long-term steady operation of the PV power station.

“Quality Unwavering”
Superior Products Stand the Test of Time

Water-mounted PV power stations face greater cost pressures and steady operation challenges compared to ground-mounted ones, often operating in high-humidity and high-salt-fog corrosive environments, and therefore demanding higher standards for module technology and quality. Solargiga Energy’s offshore PV module products feature the salt fog resistance of Grade 8 and can be used for a long time in harsh marine environment with high salt fog content, effectively resisting seawater erosion. The dual-layer coating technology further enhances the modules’ steadiness and durability, reducing risks of aging and damage. Moreover, the unique connector protection solution can effectively prevent circuit failures caused by such factors as seawater and moisture, ensuring that modules can operate steadily in complex environments, providing a strong guarantee for the long-term benefits from the Project.

Whether on tranquil lakes or challenging coastal mudflats and offshore sea waters, these modules can operate steadily, fully demonstrating their robust environmental adaptability. In terms of installation method, the modules can be installed with fixed brackets, flexible brackets and floating brackets, providing a variety of options for different project terrains and construction requirements. In terms of appearance design, Solargiga Energy’s offshore PV modules feature polyurethane composite frames that offer both protective properties and aesthetic appeal. With customizable colors, they can seamlessly integrate into diverse project environments while meeting varied aesthetic demands.

At a time when the global demand for clean energy is growing, offshore PV projects, by virtue of their unique advantages, have become an important development direction in the field of new energy. The offshore PV module products launched by Solargiga Energy are gradually becoming an ideal option for offshore PV projects with their excellent performance and wide applicability. In the future, Solargiga Energy will continue to promote PV power generation projects in more fields and application scenarios with its advanced technology and high-quality services, help global energy transformation, and contribute to the realization of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
