The Future Energy Show Africa 2024 was grandly held at the Gallagher Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa from March 18-20. Solargiga Energy made its debut at Booth D52 in Hall 4 with new GIGA-N series modules.
At this Show, Solargiga Energy exhibited four high-efficiency module products for distributed scenarios. Among them, the 54-cell rectangular high-efficiency module had attracted on-site audiences for its black appearance. The module, with N-type TOPCon cell technology, has a mass production conversion efficiency of up to 22.53%; Besides, the lightweight (only 20.7KG) and the all-black small-size design of this module are preferred in high-end residential and other application scenarios for its easy installation. In addition, there were two 66-cell and one 72-cell N-type module products of various specifications of 182mm and 210mm on display, all of which had a 30-year power warranty.
About 80% of the electricity in South Africa is provided by a single national energy company. Due to obsolete equipment and frequent faults, South Africa has frequently suffered from power outages and restrictions. Thus, South Africa is in urgent need to accelerate the pace of energy transition, and the presence of Chinese enterprises in the power market in South Africa is further expanded. In 2023, South Africa’s import of photovoltaic modules increased by 353% year on year, and the scale of imports increased significantly. In the same year, Solargiga Energy developed an exclusive agent in South Africa to distribute our modules and quickly responded to the needs of local customers. Solargiga Energy is committed to providing the most competitive products and services for local customers and will never stop doing so.
